Why July Made Me Smile
A photo collection of all the things that made me smile in July.

I took this photo by accident while cleaning my lens. I guess I have a spooked expression when I clean? I have horror in my eyes when I see dirt, hahaha.

There is nothing special about this picture, but in real life, it is the most 'calming' set of windows I've ever seen.

This is Amaretto Chocolate Marquise Cake from Jump, a high-end restaurant. My friends and I ate there because it was a restaurant participating in Summerlicious, an event that is hosted by select high-end restaurants every summer. Toronto's top restaurants offer non-frequent patrons (i.e. those who make less than $30,000 a year) the opportunity to sample a wide variety of high-end cuisine through prix-fixe menus. The three-course meal was filling and delicious, the servers were attentive, and the atmosphere was delightful. But you serve me McDonald's and I'd be happy. I'm not hard to please.
I saw this abandoned bike spray painted hot pink, apparently part of an art project by a Toronto artist.

Levitating around town...no big deal:

Got to take photos of my nephew, the cutest, most photogenic and well-behaved kid I have ever photographed!!!!! I love him!!!!

A walk through High Park.

Little ducks at High Park.

Eco Staple-Free Stapler that my brother gave me for my birthday.

It's primarily effective for less than 3 sheets of paper though...

Tested out the Canon 85mm f/1.2 lens and boy it is a chunky ball of a lens! But it's fast and quiet at focusing and it is a true gem when you nail the focusing properly. This was taken at the widest aperture, f/1.2.
I can’t wait for August!!!! So many figure skating related events are coming up and September is going to be even better!!!! And October too!!!! Ahhhhhhh so excited :D so excited :D

I’ve seen that pink bike too! i didn’t know it was part of an art project. did you Google it?
I really like the reflection picture! and the levitation ones too of course :)
