Why January Made Me Smile

Nothing like watching Pulp Fiction during the last hours before a new school semester begins.

I don't know.

Take me out for a white peach bellini at Moxies and you can get me to talk.

Motivational quotes on Post-Its. I expect this to accumulate.

Patrick is the definition of being relentless. He has faith and commitment when the odds (and critics) are against him.

Yes, I did set this on the counter at Starbucks like a big dork and used a self-timer remote for this shot. I wanted some visual memory of what I did in my 20's so you can be quiet, kthx!

One of my best friends, in absolute stitches after I tell her to hold her pose.

She has the most infectious, uncontrollable laughter, which has rubbed off against me. And I wouldn't have it any other way. She is my hero and I admire her for all that she sacrifices for the betterment of others.

The world's great letters. A very interesting book. The pages smell like a garage sale, though.

Had steamed fish for Chinese New Year.

I love this dog.

I love this dog so much.

I love love love love this dog.

2012 started out great, and it’s still looking great. I met a ton of new people and I love each and every one of them! I know that sounds cheesy, but I guess I never really knew how many awesome people there are in my school. I kind of just sheltered myself for most of my 3rd year and didn’t realize the most amazing people are just around the corner. In less than 4 weeks, I went on a photo walk, competed in a case competition, went to a spa for the first time, made a film about my love for photography, started ballet class, did yoga daily (and I still do!).

Looking forward to a fruitful February :)
